Let's say that you were...?

stranded on a deserted island with a little puppy and a bag. Inside the bad was a water bottle, some Spearmint, a rope, and a box of food. What two different foods would you want to have in there?

I would have a bottle of honey and some bagels.

And what would you give to the puppy?

Let's say that you were...?
I want a big bottle of alcohol and fish bait. I can take the alcohol and use it to fuel a fire, it also (in a pinch) can be used to disinfect any wounds or animal bites I may get. Also, lol..I can drink it. Sorry but the puppy is going to be the first thing I'm probably going to eat. I would take part of the meat to use to lure any animals on the island. Then, once I found an animal, I'd track it and see where IT goes for food, that way I'd have an alternate food source, (and probably eat the animal as well) I would use the fish bait to catch fish off the island, if there was no animals I could lure.
Reply:beef jerky and trail mix. Both have very high calories and will allow you to operate efficiently for a longer duration then starch based junk food. This means you have more time to build living conditions before you get trapped without water and food. It will also keep your mind running clearly. This makes building an extreme shelter much easier and reduces the chances of injuries. It will also help keep your mind clear for starting a fire and making sure it does not burn the island to a crisp.

The first principle of survival is to stay in a sane mindset. If you lose your mind when trapped you will also lose your life.Second is to be prepared, if your going boating around deserted islands it only makes sense to have an emergency kit aboard your craft, no matter the size. In this kit should be three days of food and water. Fire starting materials (matches, lighters, flint sticks, flares...) and many medical supplies to handle everything from scrapes to snake bites. Last but not least is three knives. Which honestly should be on your person more then in the kit. The first is a heavy duty full tang knife. This is for digging, cutting, preparing wood and other very hard tasks. The second knife should be a whittling knife or a carving knife. This will allow you to make survival tools like spears and traps. The last should be a single hand operating knife. If you become injured or trapped it helps to have a knife you can open with one hand. This should be a general knife that can handle any task. It should also not be used unless you have no choice. You should have a heavy duty file for repairing chips in the blades and a sharpening stone to keep them in working order.

Hails to being prepared,

Silence

Reply:Pizza and baked macaroni. I'll share my pizza with the puppy.
Reply:Loadsa bread. for me and that puppy. =)
Reply:a bunch of bananas and a box of dry puppy food :)
Reply:dehydrated hamburger and plain oatmeal. these are the minimal staples you can live off of. and I'd share with the dog.
Reply:I would have a large can of K-Ration for the puppy and a large supply of beef jerky for me! That way if we get tired of our own food, we could trade off ! I heard K- Ration dog food is pretty good, according to 9 out of 10 weirdos who eat dog food!
Reply:I would have water because I can make some good puppy soup with rice like chines people do.
Reply:Some scones with honey sound really good right now. I think I would want scones and dog food in my bag. Dog food for the puppy, of course. I would hope, though, never to be in that situation as it would probably be at least a few days before anyone came to the rescue and by then we would probably be out of food (and I would never eat the dog! I'm a vegetarian.) Perhaps I would trade in the scones for some heavy liquor - not to drink, silly (I'm underage), but to use to make a signal fire. I guess I did learn a thing or two from watching so many movies!
Reply:I will eat the dog.
