After Rinsing mouthwash?

I use Act Spearmint mouthwash. After i use it, is it best to spit it out and not rinse it w/ water afterwards, or can i rinse water in my mouth afterwards. Which is better? Or does it even matter?

If it's got fluoride and/or anti-bacterial chemical in it, it's best to just spit it out and leave the residue in your mouth. That way the chemicals can continue doing their job for a short while longer. The tiny amount you might swallow is harmless.
Reply:Rinse with water after mouthwash.
Reply:In my opinion it would be a waste if you rinsed with water after wards.
