Old Mojo sweets?

Was looking some old answers and someone said they wish they still made the Mojo sweets. Well they do and you can get them in Farmfoods. Cola, Banana, Strawberry, Orange and Spearmint. They are bigger than I remember them being but still as good. And they are SUITABLE FOR VEGGIES! Only ￡1

only a pound???? They used to be 8 for a penny (Pre-decimalisation!!!!) and you couldmix them with blackjacks and fruit salads

Reply:Where I live, they are hard to find, but are available. Yeah, they used to be two for a penny, back in the days when you could go to the corner store, ask for a mixed bag of candy for 10 cents, and come away with a bagful!

Reply:Yeah - you gotta be kiddin'. ￡1 in my day could buy a handful of Mojo's, Blackjack's, Bazooka Joe's (remember how they used to get those weenytiny cartoons on the inside of the wrapper?), a free bag of scratchings from the chippie to go with your sixpenny worth of crispy chips cooked in LARD, non of this namby pamby veggie oil they use nowadays, a threepenny bus ride into town, see a high-line group at the Town Hall (like Jethro Tull - 10/6 in front row), the last bus home with a crafty ciggie on the back row on top deck, another bag of chips that would feed your mom, dad, brother, sister, granny, and next door's dog AND have enough change to give your mom's housekeeping. Aah those halcyon days of smog, diphtheria and the school inspector. 'sfunny how a simple word like Mojo can bring it all flooding back. I'll just wipe the tear from my eyes and suck on a ginger biscuit with me cuppa. TTFN playmates.
